I have been developing and working with athletes for over 10years. Throughout all these years I have found out that there is a comon denominator in the athletic development, and this problem starts at a very early age. Most of the high school athltetes that come to 1822, come wanting to improve and develop their strength, power, speed and agility. When I evaluate them, I notice that there is a problem that could’ve been fixed when they were 10 years old. So, now I have to go back to teach and coach fundamental aspects of mobility, coordination, core stability and posture before I make them stronger and faster. Aspects or areas that should’ve been taught between 10-12 years or age. For this reason we are launching our Athletic FitCamp for young athltes 10-12 years old on Thursday, November 3rd, 2011. We want to help young athltes succed when they get to high school because I know that is this problem is not corrected now that they ae 10-12 yars old, the chances of them playing sports at the high school level are minimum.
